Glenn English
Chief Executive
Officer, NRECA |
It’s no secret that those of us working in the electric cooperative
industry take a great deal of pride in the quality of our work.
We strive each and every day to uphold the cooperative principles
and improve the quality of service that we provide to our
consumer-owners.
So it should come as no surprise that as some of us approach
retirement or the prospect of a career outside of electric cooperatives,
we would look at ways to maintain the relationships that we
have built with both the people and issues associated with our
industry. That is why I am proud to announce that we have formed
the Electric Cooperative Alumni Club.

What are the Advantages of Membership?
This exclusive club will provide you with up-to-date critical information on important electric cooperative issues so you can continue making a difference in affecting legislation. To keep updates and information as current as possible, the core of all communication will be internet-based.

When alumni participate in the political process on behalf of electric cooperatives they help maintain a connection between legislators and the broad range of issues facing our grassroots consumers each and every day.
Who is Eligible to Join?
Membership is open to anyone who has worked as a direct employee or served on the board of an electric cooperative for at least one year–and to current employees and directors who are within six months of their last working day.
Members share some common interests such as keeping in touch with their peers, staying informed on a range of critical issues and a desire to be engaged in political activism long after they have left their service to electric cooperatives.
