The program was designed to provide a modern, economical and effective quality assurance service. WQC was designed to accomplish two objectives:
- Assure the customer that the treated poles and crossarms being purchased consistently meet or exceed specification
- Confirm that those being paid to provide the inspection service are adhering to industry requirements and are actually performing the work called for
